This has to be one of the toughest things to do. Letting go comes from a place of resentment. It takes courage to relinquish especially if it's something or someone you love. However, the act of letting go can ease you from pain. Sometimes you have to give up what you love the most for your peace of mind and liberation.

Many at times, we find ourselves holding on to what will destroy a part of us. Our addiction to these things might make it hard to let go of them. For example, "Love". It's a beautiful thing and should be enjoyed but life doesn't always go as planned. Your relationship might have a beautiful beginning and may start to fall apart at some point. Nobody wants to go through tribulations in their relationships but it's one of the tests of love. When these tribulations become overwhelming, you might have to let go of what you always cherished. It doesn't mean you didn't love your partner. It could just be for the betterment of the two parties. You would be downhearted but remember you're letting go for a greater blessing to come in. It could be your past that's haunting and not giving you the chance to move on. Do not let it take over your life. Mistakes were meant to happen in the life of any human. All you need do is let go of your past so that it doesn't ruin your future. There are a number of people in abusive relationships but wouldn't let go because they dwell upon what others will say. The opinion of others shouldn't be your concern when your life and well being is at stake. Let go of that toxic relationship.

We all have that bad habit, past, dirty secret, heartbreak that we won't stop thinking about or holding on to because it might be the fall of us. We need not be confined by these things. Release whatever it is that you're holding on to that may be harmful to you.
No one says it will be easy but it definitely will be worth it.
Kudos to you love, this actually says it right
