I'M A WOMAN

Who is a woman? According to Google, a woman is a female person associated with a particular place, activity, or occupation. From the definition above, what I can decipher is that a woman was made to put things in place whether at work, at home, with family or with friends, all she does is put things in place. It's International Women's Day today and I didn't think i'd be writing this blog post. I was inspired by pain. I've been complaining of cramps to a friend and after the pity he had for me, he said "use that pain to write". So here I am, using my pain to write. One of the most amazing things about being a woman is, I get to look after a lot of people. It's just our nature to care for others. When you are birthed, your mother (A Woman) looks after you from day 1 till she dies. Your mother births your sister (A woman), who is by your side in every step of the way. When you are old enough, you eventually fall in love with a woman who becomes your wife and God willing you give birth to a daughter (A woman). In life, you must be surrounded by women. We are strong, smart, resilient, noble, kind, caring, loving and so much more. I'll list the type of pains a woman goes through in her walk through life. It would make you appreciate us better. Puberty Menstruation Defloration Pregnancy Labour/ Child birth Menopause In everything we do, we go through pain. Yet we still decide to look strong, take care of the home, take care of everything and everyone around us. It's been ordained by God and that's the way it will be. When you are done reading this, I want you to call the women in your life to tell them thank you for everything. Appreciate them because they're precious and they still go through so much pain without making a big deal out of it. I am a WOMAN. I am Wise I am Optimistic I am Motivating I am Amiable I am Noble. I am a Woman and I am proud.
