FOUR YEARS

A young girl leaving home for the first time in her entire life to live with strangers in a completely strange university. Her first day in school, she thought of all odds that would happen. She thought of how she was going to live life in a university without her family and friends. She has been a day student all her life up until this moment. She cried all through her first month in the school. Reality then dawned on her. She made new friends. She talked to a lot of people that were untrue to her. She was scared of her roommates because she thought they would bully her. She drifted away from the right ones all in the name of fear and fell into the hands of black sheep in white clothing. These people she thought were the perfect ones then thought her the lesson of her life. She had to go back to her roommates that she was scared of. Luckily for her, they had their arms open for her. She then became the love of their life and their baby sister. The bond became so strong that she trusted them with everything. Fast forward to 200 Level, classes have been stressful as usual but she already got used to it. She got used to the school. Drama then began. Most people became envious of her. They began to ask questions like "Why would her life be this good?" "How can she have all that she wants?". Little did they know that life isn't a bed of roses. They thought she had the perfect but well she didn't. She had to get used to the fact that everyone sees her as the perfect child.She then gained new names like Proud, Snub and the likes.Her journey of 4 years which she thought was supposed to be interesting then became sour. In 300 level, she already learnt to be on her own. She knew her way around the school and could tell stories to those who came in the school after her. She became a big girl who no longer needed her mummy to survive in school. She could now tell her wrongs from right. At this point, some of her beloved roommates had graduated and some were in their final year. She then started to fear again. She thought of all the possible things that could happen to her when they all leave because they were the most important part of her life in the university. 400 Level! The almighty final year. The point where every student hopes to get to at the right time. She then got to her final year. She had to think of her project, she had to think of graduation and life after school. She then started up a business to keep her busy when she finally graduates. This business was time taking and stressful but she didn't give up. She owned a blog. She poured out her heart through writing. At that point, the envy and jealousy became overly scary. People would do anything to become who she is. She just hoped that graduation came early enough so she can get rid of those people and face the reality of life. This is my story. The girl is Rola
